📍 2005 – The Beginning at Dell VMware
Surjeet started his professional journey in 2005 with Dell VMware, working on virtualization, server management and enterprise IT infrastructure.
This phase built a strong technical foundation and gave him exposure to global engineering teams.
📍 2008 – Joining IBM
In 2008, he moved to IBM, where he worked on enterprise software, cloud solutions and transformation projects.
This was a turning point — gaining experience in large-scale engineering systems and industry use cases.
📍 2012 – Senior Technology Consultant at Capgemini
After four years at IBM, Surjeet joined Capgemini in 2012 as a Senior Technology Consultant.
Here he worked on:
- Digital transformation for Fortune 500 clients
- Cloud migration & DevOps adoption
- High-availability system architecture
He also began mentoring fresh engineers inside the organization — planting the first seeds of his passion for education.
📍 2016 – Solution Architect at Infosys
In 2016, Surjeet transitioned to Infosys as a Solution Architect.
His responsibilities included:
- Leading global development teams
- Designing enterprise software solutions
- Training and upskilling internal engineering teams across departments
This role strengthened his leadership skills and provided an understanding of how large IT organisations build talent.
📍 2019 – VP Engineering at Tech Mahindra
Surjeet’s continued excellence led him to Tech Mahindra in 2019 as Vice President – Engineering.
This phase gave him valuable experience in:
- Managing multi-country engineering operations
- Implementing digital innovation strategies
- Guiding young developers and professionals on career advancement
During this period, he began hosting community meet-ups and online mentoring sessions for engineering students — which later became the foundation of Jaipur Engineers.
📍 2021 – Establishing Jaipur Engineers Community
By 2021, Jaipur Engineers started taking shape as a rapidly growing engineering community built by engineers, for engineers.
What started as a small network soon became:

📍 2023 – Major Milestone: Entering the Education Sector
In 2023, Surjeet took the biggest step in his visionary journey — entering the education & training industry to solve the skill gap for Indian engineers.
To accelerate this mission, Jaipur Engineers acquired the Learn & Build brand under LNB Career Pvt. Ltd.
This acquisition empowered Jaipur Engineers to transform from a community to a complete skill-based education platform offering:
